COURSE PROPOSAL FOR A TEA TASTING
This course proposal for a tea tasting can be used for a class at the community college, university, or parks and recreation department.
This two hour class discusses the history of tea. Tea, from its birth to its popularity today, will be presented. Participants will learn the three major methods of processing freshly picked leaves that result in a different category of tea. They will learn why tea tastes the way it does. Participants will taste 8 different kinds of tea. Each will receive a list of Tea and Infusion Descriptions and Hints on Brewing a Perfect Cup of Tea. Crackers and lemon and/or cranberry curd will be served.
