OPEN A TEA BUSINESS

SEMINAR

We are planning another seminar on how to open a tea business. Here is the information.

The following gives a brief schedule.

1p.m. – dinner, Friday, September 19, 2008 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2008 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Sunday, September 21, 2008

The special price of $995 is being offered as an introductory price. Credit cards will be accepted.

The tea seminar will be taught at Belle's Tea Cottage, 1635 Marvel Way in Reno.

The following topics will be covered: -History and Production of Tea -Writing a Business Plan -Opening A Tea Room -Government Regulations -Construction/Certifications/Contracts -Insurance -Health Dept./Food Safety -Accounting/Finances/Budget/Daily Cash Report/Payroll/Banking -Leasing/Buying -Types of Tea Businesses -Marketing and Advertising -Cupping Tea

We will also tour Davidson's Tea and Belle's Tea Cottage Elegant Tea will be served on Saturday.

The sessions will be taught by Logan and Clara Knight and Sally Jones. Clara and Sally are tea professionals and have Level 3 Certificates from the Specialty Tea Institute and the US Tea Association. All three have successfully run Belle's Tea Cottage for the last 5 years.
