OUT-OF-HOME MARKETING
Out-of-home marketing used to be called "outdoor media." This is one of the oldest forms of advertising and it has changed dramatically. The great thing about this form of advertising is that it puts your message face to face with people. They can't turn off the TV or turn the page. It's just right there.
This form can include not only billboard ads, but ads on buses, taxis, kiosks, and on the movie screen at your local theaters. One really creative individual had their ad placed on the paper tray liners that the university cafeteria used. University students were their target market.
You can place you ad almost any place you can think of such as GPS-enabled golf carts, valet tickets, the sleeve that goes around a hot cup of coffee, ticket jackets for airline or bus tickets, cash envelopes at the bank, or hotel key cards. There are hundreds of places you see ads and you could place your message there.
Think about placing your ad in restrooms, on cars whose owners let businesses rent signs to place on their cars, and on those billboards that revolve with three different ads on the same billboard. Think of your local beauty salon and supply them with emory boards with your company's name on them to be handed out to customers.
I'm sure you get the picture and will start noticing where others have advertised now that you know. GreatOutdoorNetwork.com has the information and tools you need to get you started.
